ONCE UPON A TIME...

ONCE UPON A TIME...

A girl fell in love with stories

so she became a professional storyteller.

ONCE UPON A TIME...

ONCE UPON A TIME...

I’m Jillian, a communications creative based in Southern California. I was raised on storybooks, folklore and worn-out VHS tapes of classic fairy tales. Now, that deep-rooted love for storytelling has grown into a profession of crafting meaningful narratives for brands, people and organizations I care about.

I’m a recent grad of the University of Oregon (go Ducks!) where I studied Public Relations with a minor in Digital Humanities. Professionally, I’ve worked with companies like Edelman, Starbucks and Macmillan Publishing, where I’ve honed my skills and discovered new talents.

In my free time, you can catch me reading a fantasy book, drinking an iced chai latte and hanging out with my cat, Junebug. Thanks so much for stopping by! Feel free to poke around and reach out if you’d like to connect.

Nicole Braman

Senior Account Supervisor - Edelman

“During her internship at Edelman, Jillian was an invaluable addition to our team. In a fast-paced environment, Jillian welcomed any challenge with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn, adapting to feedback seamlessly to continue sharpening her work. She gained experience drafting messaging/pitches, building media lists, coverage monitoring and reporting and dot connecting across workstreams to maximize team efficiencies, among several other brilliant basics of PR. She is proactive, thorough and incredibly collaborative and would be an asset to any team!”

Giselle Gonzalez

Senior Publicist - Tor Publishing Group

“Jillian is an incredibly hardworking, passionate, and organized individual. I was thrilled to be able to have her as our publicity intern for two internship terms. She always hit the ground running with any tasks we sent her way, juggled multiple projects, wrote pitches, organized lists, conducted thorough research and event planning and came up with several out of the box, creative ideas during her time at TPG. She was always extremely communicative and expressed enthusiasm and interest in all aspects of the publishing process. Any company would be lucky to have her!”
